Capcom has made a little more clear that it will feature pro wrestler Thea Trinidad as one of Street Fighter 6's commentators. Her voice will be accessible as part of SF6's Real Time Commentary feature.
With a new teaser showing her adding a bit of play to Juri's matches, Capcom promoted the addition of Thea Trinidad to its commentary slate.
Thea Trinidad herself is a fan of Street Fighter and attended the WWE Royal Rumble on January 28, 2023 dressed as SF6 cosplay. YouTube user BigNastyKail collected some videos of her appearance during the event, where she emulated some of Juri's moves.
Here are a few shots of her in her Juri outfit.
Thea Trinidad is a WWE Women's Tag Team Champion who also appeared on TNA Impact under the ring name Zelina Vega.
She'll provide real-time commentary based on opponents' moves and performance during a match. She's classified as a "color commentator," meaning she's there more to intrigue and amass some personality. Tasty Steve and James Chen are two fighting game community commentators.
Street Fighter 6 will be released on June 2, 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and PC. See a demo match between Blanka and new fighter JP.
