"A fully autonomous unmanned cleaning robot was created for silent and high-quality cleaning of landscape gardens and other areas," according to the manufacturer's website. Replaceable attachments will guarantee the preservation of a clean and comfortable urban environment, regardless of weather, time of day, season, or free hands.
The cleaning robot employs a computer vision chip based on an AI module and a sensor system on stereo cameras, lidars, and radars. The battery life is 16 hours, according to a source, and most components of the robot are developed in Russia.
Avtonomika's technical partner in this project was Mercator Holding, a company that specializes in road and communal services. The company intends to produce autonomous cleaners on its own. At the initial stage, 15 Pixels will be tested on the streets of Moscow. Other countries, such as the United Arab Emirates, have already shown interest.
