Phil Spencer, the CEO of Xbox, admitted in an interview with the IGN portal that he was unaware that there would be many big releases on Xbox consoles last year. According to him, new games in 2022 would not be enough to fulfill his obligations to owners of Xbox consoles.
He further promised to make every effort to make the current year the best for Xbox. He also expressed confidence that the merger with Activision Blizzard will be made, and that all checks and courts for such a huge transaction will be performed as per industry standards.
