"A fully autonomous unmanned cleaning robot was developed for silent and high-quality cleaning of landscape garden and other areas," according to the manufacturer's website. Replaceable attachments will ensure the maintenance of a clean and comfortable urban environment, regardless of weather, time of day, season, or free hands.
The cleaning robot employs a computer vision software based on an AI module and a sensor system on stereo cameras, lidars, and radars. It is claimed that the robot's degree of localization is close to 100%.
Avtonomika's technical partner in the implementation of this project was Mercator Holding, a company that specializes in road and communal services. The company intends to develop autonomous cleaners on its own. At the initial stage, 15 Pixels will be tested on the streets of Moscow. Other countries, such as the United Arab Emirates, have already shown interest in the project.
