Square Enix invites fans to request additional remasters and remakes ...

Square Enix has been hugely successful with HD-2D titles such as Octopath Traveler, Live A Live, and Triangle Strategy. Team Asano is already working on an updated version of Octopath Traveler as well as a remake of Dragon Quest 3, but they seem to have run out of ideas.

Fans are asked about Team Asano's previous games, as well as where the game should focus its efforts next, according to the poll, which is available on the official Square Enix website. (Not limited to Square Enix games)

The second question is pertinent because the majority of Team Asano's work has been old school RPGs. Triangle Strategy integrates a lot of twist-based gameplay, but all HD-2D games have remained consistent with the classic JRPG genre. Perhaps that's why fans may suggest remastering or remastering non-Square Enix games in the future.

Earthbound, Golden Sun, and Shin Megami Tensei are some non-Square Enix RPGs that pop up in my head. Team Asano's collaboration with Atlus sounds interesting. Let's see if this survey proves enough interest in such a collaboration.

Fans have until February 8 to complete the survey, which is only open to Japanese residents. Square Enix is also conducting a random drawing where participants may win limited editions of the Octopath Traveler, Triangle Strategy promotional packs (including t-shirts, mousepads, posters, and character cards), a Live A Live Collector's Edition, and Bluetooth speakers with the Bravely Default 2 theme.
