Annie Wersching, well-known for her roles in the TV series 24 and Bosch, has died of cancer. Her publicist has confirmed that she was 45 years old. In the game world, she is better known as Tess from the original The Last of Us, where she voiced and took part in motion capture.
Even after her diagnosis in 2020, she continued to perform, notably in Star Trek: Picard and The Rookie.
“My heart has broken into more pieces than I can count,” said John Kassar, who directed and produced the film “24.” She will be greatly missed by me, my family, and all of the cast and crew who worked with her. She and all of the fans she always found time to connect with will miss you.
