Annie Wersching, best known for her roles in television series 24 and Bosch, has died of cancer. Her publicist has confirmed that she was 45 years old. In the game world, she is better known as Tess from the original The Last of Us, who she voiced and participated in motion capture.
Even after her diagnosis in 2020, she continued to play prominent roles in Star Trek: Picard and The Rookie.
"My heart has broken into more pieces than I can count. Annie was a genuine friend to me, my family, and all the cast and crew who worked with her," said John Kassar, who directed and produced 24 films. "You will be missed by them, and we all benefit from it."
