Dead Space is set to be released on Xbox Series X | S, Playstation 5 and PC on Monday, January 27.
On Metacritic, the Dead Space remake has a score of 89 out of 100, the same as on Opencritic (based on almost 50 reviews). At the same time, the original Dead Space, released in 2008, has a score of 86 out of 100.
The Dead Space remake was able to utilize all of the new games while keeping the original feel, according to reviewers. At some points, the game has been improved (in terms of plot, mechanics, etc.) and players who "wiped the original to holes" will certainly enjoy the remake.
