Justin Roiland, the creator of the comedy series "Rick and Morty" (Solar Opposites) as co-creator, executive producer, and voice actor, has officially ceased his involvement with Hulu. He also worked on the animation project "Koala Man," which he co-founded last month.
In 2020, the creator of "Rick and Morty" was accused for the first time of domestic violence. Then some "unknown person" reported bodily harm and unlawful imprisonment via threats, violence, and deceit.
The hearing in the case is still ongoing, with the parties' next court meeting scheduled for April 27. If found guilty, Roiland might be sentenced to up to seven years in prison.
