The Football Manager 2023 console is scheduled to launch on January 1st ...

The famous Football Manager series will be available on the PlayStation 5 starting February 1st with the release of the Football Manager 2023 console.

The release of the game was originally scheduled for 8 November 2022 but was postponed due to unanticipated events during the submissions and approval process. PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to redeem a 20% discount on the game until 14 February at 11:00 PM (UTC+8). This discount is consistent with the pre-order incentive offered prior to the original release date.

Miles Jacobson, Sports Interactive's Studio Director, said: "We're so ecstatic with today's update that we'll finally be able to get the FM23 Console into the hands of PS5 gamers." Since the initial delay, the team at Sports Interactive and our colleagues at SEGA have worked tirelessly with Sony to get the device back on track. We're very pleased to now have a release candidate ready for release next week.

From the moment our initial launch was postponed, we wanted to get the game into the hands of PS5 gamers as quickly as possible. Once all the global transfer windows have ended, we will provide a data update for the PS5 edition in line with the updates for all of our other platforms.
