Hi-Fi Rush, a third-person sci-fi action game inspired by Jet Set Radio, is the next game from Tango Gameworks.

Xbox just held its first Developer_Direct, which showcased Redfall, Minecraft Legends, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Forza Motorsport. While most of the information was confirmed before the show even started, there were a few surprises, including the announcement of Tango Gameworks' next game.

Chai is played by Robbie Daymond, a wannabe rock star who wants to be a millionaire. Rhythm moves the world around and plays a major role in combat. The greatest surprise was that Hi-Fi Rush will be released in just a few hours.

Xbox has only announced Hi-Fi Rush today, but it's been a fairly secret for a while now. A trademark for the game was first identified online two years ago, and a trademarked logo was also revealed later last year, which seemed to confirm rumors that the game was a third-person action game inspired by Jet Set Radio.
