Waze is now available in a new version, but it isn't for everyone! ...

The new Android Auto concept has finally arrived, although it hasn't reached all Waze users yet. This is not necessarily bad news for Waze users since the new Waze version may be ready in time.

Waze is now available for download, but not everyone!

After manually installing the Waze beta APK on his smartphone, a Reddit user saw the update on his vehicle.

The driver in question has been using the new Android Auto design through Google's beta program for over a month, and now Waze is fully adapted to this version. Or at least almost. Because this update requires some tweaking. Especially color in graphic elements. Of course, it is a temporary inconvenience.

Last but not least, this particular version does not appear to boot from the wizard. In fact, users have to run Waze manually and enter the address. This is likely a bug that must be fixed before the final version is released.

This version of Waze is also available through APKMirror. Note that you must have the latest Android Auto look on your device, which can take time and patience in some situations.

I recall that till now Google Maps was the only navigation software that fully supported the Android Auto Coolwalk design.
