The new Android Auto version has finally arrived after a few months of delay, although it hasn't yet reached all Waze users. It's not necessarily bad news for Waze users because the new version can be released in time.
Waze is now available in a different version, but it isn't for everyone!
After manually installing the Waze beta APK on his phone, a Reddit user saw the update on his car.
The driver in question has been using the new Android Auto design through Google's beta program for over a month now. Or at least almost. Because this update still requires some tweaking. Especially color in graphic elements. Of course it can be a temporary problem.
Lastly, this particular version does not appear to boot from the wizard. In fact, users must launch Waze manually and enter the address. This is a known problem that must be addressed before the final version is released.
By the way, this version of Waze is available on APKMirror. Note that you must have the latest Android Auto look on your device, and, unfortunately, in some cases this requires time and patience. Anyway, if you still don't have the latest design, it should be a matter of days.
I remember that until recently Google Maps was the only navigation app that fully supported the new Android Auto Coolwalk concept.
