In late April, Dragon Quest Dai: A Heros Bond will close its doors ...

Square Enix has announced that Dragon Quest Dai: A Hero's Bond would close its doors on the 26th of April, stating that this decision was made by the developers because of the impossibility of ensuring further quality content for the game.

Dragon Quest Dai: A Hero's Bond surpassed five million downloads within a few weeks of its release, but the user base steadily declined, making continued support unfavorable.

The authors took advantage of the announcement to thank all of the players while at the same time presenting the short roadmap from here to the shutdown of servers, during which some new content will still be available and all microtransactions will be deactivated, as well as the Gold Pass.

The last chapters of the Dragon Tracks and Bonding Journey modes will be included in the next updates, as well as a new treasure hunt that will allow for items and equipment previously reserved for season pass holders.
