Deadpool's Midnight Suns are reimagined in four ways

Deadpool's Midnight Suns are reimagined in four ways ...

The first Marvel's Midnight Sun's DLC* will be released on January 26. However, did you know that Deadpool is also included in the Midnight Sun's roster of playable Marvel heroes? Did you know that his food truck is parked right outside the Abbey?

Deadpool has his own Story missions.

Deadpool joins the Midnight Suns while attempting to steal a piece of art from the New York Museum of Art. The story of this failed burglary and subsequent confrontations with vampiric foes plays out across a series of new missions in which Deadpool, who is completely unaware that he is appearing in a video game, takes things even more seriously than his new foes.

"You should expect Deadpool to regularly breach the fourth wall, both in and out of combat," says Creative Director Jake Solomon. "It's like playing the game with a mouthy but loyal pal."

Deadpool's main plot is separate from the main campaign, but you can still include him when assembling a team for any mission once he joins the hero roster, not only because of his brilliant voice...

Deadpool is capable of doing SO much damage!

Deadpool's unique En Fuego resource has the potential to grow his power as a mission progresses. Many of his ability cards include the En Fuego keyword, and, provided he has at least one stack of En Fuego, these cards become more powerful and/or have additional effects when played.

Jake concludes, "If you can maximize Deadpool's En Fuego bonus, he becomes a "one-man Delete key" for enemies." "Watch him draw an absurd amount of cards, shoot five enemies, and destroy the greatest, baddest enemy on the map in one turn."

Deadpool's En Fuego meter is fueled by KOing enemies with his ability cards, granting him an additional stack of En Fuego whenever he takes damage. So, pairing up with a tanky hero like Captain Marvel or Captain America who can taunt enemies away from him helps him maximize his damage output.

Deadpool's food truck keeps Regular alive.

Deadpool's secret Abbey base is enhanced to house his flashy Food Truck near the pool. Embellished with a colorful picture of the man himself astride a bearded unicorn, the truck advertises the "World's Best Turduckens," but actually delivers something quite different, if not quite as delectable.

Jake adds, "With Deadpool's Food Truck upgrade, you can discard a card from your hand once per encounter to gain a Move." "This is a major plus for positioning and using the environment during tactical missions, and Deadpool doesn't need to be on the mission for your team!"

When you discard a card, you'll gain a Shove as well as a Move. This allows you to push an adversary towards danger while keeping your heroes safe.

Deadpool isn't just about violence and cuisine.

In the interim, Deadpool can be found relaxing in and around the Abbey, and if you wish to pursue his friendship, you can invite him to hang out; he either "loves" or "dislikes" any way you spend time together!

Do you think Deadpool would like to relax by the pool? Movie watching or bird watching? Invite him to activities that he enjoys, and, once your friendship with him reaches an end, you may unlock his Legendary Midnight Suns ability and suit.

Deadpool's arrival at the Abbey provides an opportunity to conduct further research at the Abbey's forge. It's "basically a energy drink combined with a portable defibrillator," which, once investigated, becomes the new Effort Maximizer combat item that you can use in tactical missions.

The PlayStation 5 version of Marvel's Midnight Suns, called "The Good, the Bad, and the Undead," will be available on January 26. It's the first of four DLC packs included in Marvel's Midnight Suns Season Pass.

The Legendary Edition of Marvel's Midnight Suns is included as part of the Marvel's Midnight Suns Season Pass, and is also available for individual purchase.
