Because of Trademark Issues, the day before the release date has been pushed back to November 10 ...

The Day Before, an open-world survival game from Fntastic, has been rescheduled for November 10, 2023 due to a privately trademarked title in the United States. Fntastic will also be postponing a "long" gameplay video it planned to release later in January, but promises to "definitely resolve everything."

The whole statement is available below:

According to a United States Patent and Trademark Office filing, a Seoul-based company "Lee, Sung Jae" filed a trademark application for the name on June 24, 2021. This was nearly six months after The Day Before's announcement on January 27 earlier in the year. Steam has now removed The Day Before's store page.

Fntastic has announced that it would "consult with lawyers" before releasing a "lengthy" gameplay video in January, stating that it will "post a video asap." Keep in mind that the trademark hasn't been granted to Lee yet, so the game may still be released as The Day Before.

The Day Before will be available on PC and Steam on November 10, 2023. Stay tuned here at MP1st for further information.
