EA Motive explains how their artificial intelligence works in Dead Space Remake and the new Necromor ...

Dead Space Remake is a popular horror series that is preparing to terrorize players on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S starting next January 27th.

The developers give us some additional information on the AI that will take the mighty creatures that invades the USG Ishimura.

"On the AI front we tried to remain as faithful to the original as possible. From shooting to movement to sound we wanted players to feel the effects of Dead Space," says the creative director Roman Campos-Oriolawho adds: "In this area we wanted to look at the classic. I am thinking of the Peeling System, which gives players greater visibility on the type of damage done to the Necromorphs."

The Necromorphs are enjoying some new behavioral habits, particularly as regards the new zero gravity stages with Isaac, who will be able to fly freely in flight unlike in 2008, although technically, we have kept the general characteristics of the Necromorphs, as Campos-Oriola says, "I'm fighting a slasher, a reaper."

Details on the PS5 DualSense features that will be used in the Dead Space Remake have been revealed on the PlayStation Blog.
