The public has the ability to download macOS Ventura on unsupported Macs with OpenCore 6.0.

"OpenCore Legacy Patcher" (or just OCLP) is a tool that allows older Macs to run macOS Big Sur and Monterey without Apple's official support, as used for Hackintosh.

The decision to make OCLP compatible with macOS Ventura, according to the developers, was not a straightforward task, since Apple has removed the majority of the legacy drivers from macOS 13.

Below are a list of mac models that can run macOS Ventura with OCLP:

  • 2008 – 2016 MacBook
  • 2009 – 2017 MacBook Air
  • 2008 – 2016 MacBook Pro
  • 2009 – 2017 Mac mini
  • 2007 – 2017 iMac
  • 2008 – 2013 Mac Pro

Keep in mind that this is an unauthorized modification, that it is still under "active development," and that some things may not work as planned.
