Microsoft is investigating network issues that have apparently caused tens of thousands of users across the globe to report outages of services like Teams and Outlook.

Microsoft announced that it is taking steps to resolve the problem in a series of tweets posted on the Microsoft 365 Status Twitter account, but did not state how widespread the problem was.

Microsoft said it's investigating problems affecting several Microsoft 365 services. "We've rolled back a network change that we believe is causing harm. We're keeping an eye on the service as the change takes place."

Downdetector reports that around 4,000 individuals in India have been affected, and more than 5,000 in the United Kingdom have reported that the Outlook was unaccessible. In Australia, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates, there have also been outages.

Microsoft Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business are among the services that have been affected by the outage.

Microsoft is also investigating a connectivity issue with Azure, its cloud computing service.
