NEWS TO THE STATES DEATHmatch AND PREMIER GAME MODES ...

Riot Games unveils some of the most important news regarding the game's competitive FPS following the release of Patch 6.0 for VALORANT. In the most recent Dev Diary the staff revealed what the game's future will be, including the addition of Team Deathmatch.

Riot Games is working on a new Team Deathmatch mode as well as other new ways to play following the release of Swift Play in Beta, which includes the in-client Pro mode, Premier.

Donlon then went into the details of both unpublished features, stating that the team responsible for VALORANT is still considering removing the agents' abilities for the Team Deathmatch mode, which would make it more casual and closer to a classic FPS. Premier, however, it will bring players much closer to the typical esports experience with advanced map removal in the classic pick & ban phase and other tools.

The future of VALORANT seems to be centered on making the gaming experience enjoyable for any player, as well as providing a very interesting competitive space for those who wish to excel in Ranked.
