Due to player feedback, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2's next multiplayer season has been postponed until 15 February. Due to player feedback, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2's next Multiplayer season has been postponed until 15 February.

The focus has been on the likes of Warzone 2.0 that will alter the game to what it was before, such as 1v1 Gulags and improved loot recovery among other things, as well as the NPC Combatants AI that will be enhanced for this and the DMZ mode.

The multiplayer mode will be reinstated, making casual play more bearable, but this is a worrying sign for some, since the emphasis has been on the more lucrative free-to-play mode rather than the multiplayer, a feature that has been happening since the WZ launch back in 2020.

Season 2 of Modern Warfare 2 (2022) will be released on all platforms on Wednesday, 15 February.
