Adult Swim takes a break from Rick and Morty after Justin Roiland's death ...

Adult Swim has taken a swipe at Justin Roilandco-author of the Rick and Morty series, stating that the TV series will continue even after the creators' arrest.

So, practically simultaneously with Roiland's decision to withdraw from Squanch Games, comes the confirmation that the TV series' creator has cut links with Rick and Morty's author, while confirming that this will continue, as reported in the message entrusted to Twitter and reported below.

"Adult Swim's relationship with Justin Roiland has been terminated," reads the message, "Rick and Morty will continue." The dedicated and talented group is working on the Season 7 of the television series, which might be questioned by his departure.

Roiland is the voice actor of both of the series' protagonists, thus his absence will result in the inevitable upheavals. In the meantime, although it has not yet been clearly reported, it is assumed that Dan Harmon, the other creator and author of the series, will continue to work on the series in order to guarantee a certain stylistic continuity.

Adult Swim's message was a step short of that of High on Life, which had received Justin Roiland's resignation in recent days and would therefore continue to work without the author. He claims Roiland was convicted of domestic abuse and "false possession under threat" by an ex-girlfriend in Orange County, California, and that media coverage of the case was "inaccurate."
