The most recent financial report for the current financial year ended December 31, 2022 was presented by Microsoft.

According to him, Xbox's revenue dropped by 13% in a quarter compared to the same month last year. The company stressed the decline in content released from its own studios as well as the decrease in monetization in other projects.

Microsoft announced a report on Obsidian Entertainment last quarter, which included Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5, and Age of Empires as part of its revenue reduction program.

Game Pass continues to expand and reach new heights, including new highs in "subscriptions, game streaming hours, and monthly active devices." In a month, the number of active users reached a new high of 120 million.

Microsoft has yet to disclose how many subscribers it has acquired. Recall that last year it was known about 25 million Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Phil Spencer called it a natural phenomenon. This year Microsoft is expected to release Starfield, Redfall, and other games, as well as close a merger with Activision Blizzard.
