The long-suffering The Lord of the Rings: Gollum's publisher has given the game a new release date ...

Portal Wccftech discovered that the Nacon publishing house's financial report for the third quarter of the current fiscal year included information about the new release dates for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum.

The Nacon and Daedalic Entertainment project was originally scheduled to launch on September 1, 2022, but shortly before the premiere, the developers decided to postpone the release for "several months." Since then, nothing has been heard from the developers.

The first half of the next fiscal year, which is from April to September of calendar year 2023, is scheduled to be released as it became known from the Nacon document.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum had previously been delayed until after announcing the release. In general, the closed May presentation by journalists was disappointing and even raised concerns about the game's appeal.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is being developed for PC (Steam), PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Nintendo Switch. From slavery in the Dark Tower to his involvement with the elves in Mirkwood, the story will tell about Gollum, torn apart by internal struggle.
