Riley Keough, the eldest daughter of Elvis Presley's only child Lisa Marie Presley, paid a memorial visit on Tuesday, January 24. Riley, a new mom herself, posted a photo to Instagram of the last time she saw Lisa Marie. Her hair was falling in loose curls around her shoulders, as her mom's hair was long and straight.
“Grateful @georgieflores took this,” she captioned the photo. Lisa Marie died on January 12 after suffering a cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, California.
Many of Riley's 696K followers on the platform shared messages of condolences for her late mother, while another wrote, "Your mother was one of my heroes as her music has given me so much hope." Actresses Bijou Phillips and Chloe Grace Moretz also responded with simple heart emojis.
Riley posted a heart emoji alongside a throwback photo with her mother on January 20th. During Lisa Marie's memorial, Riley and her husband Ben Smith-Petersen announced that they had secretly welcomed a baby girl.
Benjamin Keough, Riley's brother, died by suicide in 2020 at the age of 27. "I can't cry because of the fear that I will never stop," Riley wrote in part on Instagram at the time. "An angel is the closest I could think of."
Harper and Finley Lockwood, 14, are two younger sisters.
