Microsoft has released figures for the second quarter of fiscal year 2023. The Redmond-based company has seen a decline in revenue in almost every sector, from hardware to content, services, and both in-house and third-party goods.
Microsoft claims that Xbox Game Pass subscriptions contributed to a "strong past year," which in turn resulted in a 12% reduction in hardware revenue.
Microsoft said that Xbox Game Pass had surpassed 25 million subscribers last year, but the Redmond-based business hasn't provided further information since, and there's no specific mention in the new financial report.
