Justin Roiland's association with Rick and Morty has come to an end

Justin Roiland's association with Rick and Morty has come to an end ...

Justin Roiland, the co-creator of Rick and Morty, was charged with felony domestic abuse and false imprisonment in a case involving an ex-girlfriend in 2020. The show has also been suspended from Adult Swim as a result of the incident.

'Adult Swim's / Cartoon Network's / Boomerang's SVP of Communications Ms. Moore made an even more succinct statement: 'Adult Swim has terminated its association with Justin Roiland.'

Justin Roiland was not only the co-creator of Rick and Morty, but also the vocal actors of the titular characters, so his departure from the show may not have an especially profound effect on the series' production. However, a 70-episode commission agreed upon back in 2018 remains a source of inspiration for Adult Swim.

Justin Roiland's relationship with Adult Swim has come to an end, and Rick and Morty will continue to prosper whole steam ahead. The reason for this is quite clear: The artist's name has changed. According to the release date for Squanch Games last month, Roiland has resigned.
