Naughty Dog discusses clickers and how they were created for the television series The Last of Us ...

Naughty Dog has released a new video of The Last of Usin, in which he discusses the processing of clickerone of the game world's infection, and how they were brought to life by the HBO series.

This is the second video from the series that began with an explanation of the initial sequence. Even in the case of clickers, some members of the development studio contributed to the video.

Clickers were intended to be immediate threats to the player, and they were constructed to fit in with the game world. They were initially intended to be only human enemies, but were later included as part of a motivation to convey why humanity came to the brink of extinction.

Straley, Druckmann, and his colleagues desired to distinguish themselves from the more common zombies that have been seen in many films and video games. Hyoung Nam was the inspiration for a concept artist who mixed the infected with mushrooms, making it impossible to recognize their faces.
