Dead Cells has sold 5 million copies on the mobile market alone ...

Playdigious, a publisher, has announced that Dead Cells' mobile version has sold five million copies worldwide since its launch in 2019. Does not include trials and subscriptions. So we talk about actual sales.

Dead Cells was developed by Motion Twin and launched on PC and consoles in 2017; the game has continued to be supported and there is always new content coming up. In 2019 it also arrived on mobile systems, iOS and Android, where in three years it exceeded 5 million copies. No wonder at all considering it's premium priced.

The market where Dead Cells mobile has sold the most is in China, followed by Europe and the United States. Motion Twin said she was surprised by the mobile game's success, which she honestly didn't believe when Playdigious proposed the port.

Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania will be released in these days, the next generation of Konami games to which Dead Cells is owed a lot (not for nothing is it a roguevania).
