Following a fan balcony fall at the DrakeConcert, the Apollo Theater issues a statement ...

At the Apollo Theater's two-night Drake concert, a fan actually fell from the lower mezzanine balcony, killing him. He was fortunate to be unharmed.

The Apollo Theater issued a statement on the incident on Monday (Jan. 23). It summarized what transpired.

EMS responded to a customer complaint last evening, according to a rep. "Drake, Apollo, and SiriusXM halted the program immediately when learning of a potential fan injury and standard procedure were implemented. They were immediately seen."

"The fan and other audience members reported that they were okay." No serious injuries have been identified at the venue.

The incident occurred just as Drake was bringing out his surprise guest 21 savage. A man can be seen randomly falling into the audience below him as the beat to "Rich Flex" fell. Once the 6God grasped what was happening, he paused his performance and told the crowd: "I have to make sure somebody's okay."

A reason for the decline has not been revealed as of publication.

Justin Bieber, A$AP Ferg, Kevin Durant, and Odell Beckham Jr. were among the celebrities who attended the recorded concert from the Apollo theater.
