The HBO series The Last of Us is breaking records, and the Naughty Dog franchise is gradually gaining popularity within the entertainment industry.

Neil Druckman, the president of Naughty Dog and the creative director of the videogame series, revealed a fact about the first chapter of the franchise that had never been revealed before.

Naughty Dog was initially intended to enrich Anna's mother, who has never been seen in the games. Druckmann initially considered a second one DLC version, but it was eventually postponed.

Druckmann said of his intention to compose a short story after the game was released. It was discarded and it was pushed aside as DLC.

With the launch of the HBO TV series, Druckmann decided to reprise Anna's portrayal, interpretata da Ashley Johnson (who plays Ellie in the games),: "I proposed it to Craig [Mazin], who was immediately interested in it, or as he would say, 'activated.' We brought it to life in the most beautiful and poetic way."
