The legal battle between Microsoft and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is still unresolved, with the acquisition of Activision Blizzard by the Redmond giant still to be finalized.

William Kovacicformer, the commissioner of the Federal Trade Commission American, has given a fascinating speech to the microphones of the last episode of The Exchange, a far-sighted observer.

Kovacic provided strong criticism of the FTC's recent work, saying, "It is undoubtedly about an attempt to overturn the policies that existed in the late 1960s and early 1970s," according to the former FTC commissioner. To investigate how the investigation relating to the acquisition of Meta will proceed, the FTC will issue a verdict before the end of January.

"If the FTC has the upper hand in that case, - Kovacic explained - this will allow them to continue on this path and to be more aggressive during the discussions with Microsoft." If instead, I think the circumstance would favor the creation of a more favorable environment for accepting the concessions that Microsoft has already proposed.
