In September, Marvel's Avengers will be delisted ...

Following its tense launch and poor marketing, Marvel's Avengers never really got off the ground. The game is now being delisted on their official website, with all support and sales coming to an end.

"We will no longer add new content or features to Marvel's Avengers after Update 2.8 on March 31, 2023, according to the authors." All official support for the game will terminate on September 30, 2023. Both single- and multi-player gameplay will continue.

Although the developers have stated that any bugs or issues that arise after this date will not be resolved, the servers may be shut down for the time being in the future.

The final patch, Update 2.8, which will be released on March 31, will rebalance the in-game economy. In essence, this update will see the end of purchasable credits. Crystal Dynamics has even included a helpful table on their website explaining exactly what players can expect to receive in exchange for their credits.

Every outfit, takedown, Emote, and nameplate, as well as Challenge Cards, and Shipments, will be available for all players as a final thank you gift, and they'll earn all of their saved credits without having to spend a penny.

Crystal Dynamic thanked its players for supporting the game for as long as they did. “We recognize that everyone in our community has an interest in these characters and their stories. We're so, so grateful that you took this journey with us. Your enthusiasm for Marvel's Avengers has played a significant role in bringing the game to life.

We hope you continue to play and enjoy Marvel's Avengers. We can't thank you enough for your help and commitment to our super team."
