Ex Maya Jama's $1 million diamond ring wants to be returned to Ben Simmons.

Ben Simmons, a Brooklyn Nets guard, has filed a lawsuit against Maya Jama, the host of Love Island.

Their relationship ended in December 2022, although the NBA star was supposedly proposed in December 2021.

The couple's long-distance relationship and busy schedules have created friction between them. Jama has its headquarters in London, while Simmons lives in New York City.

Since 2019, reports of a relationship between Simmons and Jama have surfaced on Instagram. Maya later made their birthday celebration for him official with a sweet message, according to Cosmopolitan.

Jama did not give up her $800,000 engagement ring after the divorce, according to the Sun exclusively. She has since received a legal letter from the 6-foot-10 point guard requesting that she return the ring immediately.

According to the Sun, a representative for the presenter acknowledged that the 26-year-old NBA player had written to Maya on Friday afternoon, asking her to return the engagement ring she received last year.

Jama dated Stormzy from 2015 until 2019, and Simmons dated reality sensation and model Kendall Jenner. Simmons' season with the Nets has been mixed. He averages 7.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game.
