Anno meets Dungeon Keeper with a twist in SteamWorld Build ...

Anno meets Dungeon Keeper with the usual SteamWorld touch on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch this year.

Steam World is back! During the SteamWorld Telegraph: Special Broadcast event, which was live streamed on Twitch, YouTube, and Steam yesterday, Thunderful and in-house development studio The Station revealed a brand new installment in the popular franchise, SteamWorld Build.

SteamWorld Build is a multi-stage city-building experience that takes a well-known genre and gives it a unique twist. You must construct a vibrant city above ground while mining resources and confronting monsters beneath.

You will build houses for your Steambot residents, provide them with food, and provide entertainment. You will also explore the abandoned mine beneath your city, which is said to be loaded with ancient technology that is essential to avoiding imminent catastrophe.

Use the above-ground natural resources and the abundant ore in the mine to build your city. Activate new settlements in the quest to uncover hidden riches and eventually assist them on the planet!

SteamWorld Build has been developed simultaneously for PC and console to ensure that the game's design, UX, and UI perform equally well with a controller and keyboard, while also providing enjoyable gameplay mechanics for experienced players and newcomers to the city builder genre. Three difficulty levels further enhance the game's difficulty.

SteamWorld Build will be released later in 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
