Ubisoft has hired the design director for Dead Island 2 ...

Bernd Diemer, the design director for Dead Island 2, has gone to Ubisoft, where he will assist with the development of new social in-game elements.

Moreover, we are not necessarily referring to support for game services such as The Division 2 or Riders Republic — tasks may even involve the addition of a photo mod to various studio features, according to a press release from Ubisoft. Such social experiences allow you to attract a wider following.

Dimer has been in the game for about 20 years, previously with DICE, Guerilla Games, and Yager Interactive. Most recently, he was the creative director of Improbable Games. The author himself stated that he is happy to join Ubisoft and intends to further its development.

Nevertheless, Ubisoft itself is facing financial difficulties, having already canceled three games and rescheduled Skull & Bones, and no of the industry's representatives was interested in its ideas for a merger and sale.
