Microsoft subpoenaes PlayStation for defense in an FTC lawsuit ...

PlayStation/Sony Interactive Entertainment has stated that they are against Microsoft buying Activision Blizzard over and over. The company that created Xbox isn't taking this lightly and has served a subpoena to Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Sony is required to provide confidential information about PlayStation's game development pipeline in order to strengthen its defense against a Federal Trade Commission lawsuit. However, these are just the basics of Microsoft's case.

Sony has until 27 January to limit, suspend, or respond to the subpoena. Previously, Sony and the FTC have expressed concerns that the Microsoft and Activision Blizzard merger would erode PlayStation's ability to compete.
