"Growing up with a mother like me is a challenge," Madonna said in a translated interview with Vanity Fair. Inside, the "Ray of Light" singer spoke about the "hardest thing," the toughest battle, and "perhaps the most complicated clown performance to handle."

Madonna said that parenting is no cakewalk. She said she struggles to understand how to be a mother and how to do my job. "You have to learn from your mistakes."

Madonna continues, "I'm happy with how they are today. And I'm proud of their work."

Madonna and her ex, former backup dancer Carlos Leon, married in 2000. Rocco and her former husband, Guy Ritchie, welcomed her three children from Malawi: David in 2006, Mercy in 2009, and the twins in 2017.

Madonna and her six children danced along to her song "Back That Up To The Beat" at the start of 2023.

Though, family bonding isn't always extravagant excursions to Africa. "Last night we played Pictionary..." Madonna wrote in another social media post, one that depicted her attempting to draw on an enormous sheet of paper.
