Gazprom Media, which removed more than 7 million links to pirated information, increased by 67 percent from 2021, and Google, which increased its size by 2.8 million in the last year.
Wink Anton Volodkin, the director of video service development, stated that the general public is more likely to turn to pirated resources since March 2022. According to estimates, the amount of traffic on such resources has doubled in comparison to 2021.
The departure of foreign services and copyright holders from the Russian market has influenced the proliferation of piracy, among other things. Moreover, domestic projects, including television programs, are also at danger from intruders.
