Miss Nagatoro's Don't Toy With Me Recap from Season 2 Episode 2
Naoto struggles to find inspiration for his drawings while sitting in the Art club room. When the Club President suddenly enters the room, he pretends to be busy with work, but she recognizes that he has been neglecting his art recently. However, she remembers that Naoto has been busy with the Cultural festival recently, and that love is the most important component of creating art.
The Club President gives Naoto two tickets to the Zoo after clarifying that she often spends more time with Mother Nature to recharge her mind and body. Interestingly, Naoto suggests that he bring Nagatoro along for the ride.
Nagatoro enters the room and sits quietly on the couch. Eventually Naoto asks her to go to the zoo with her but she refuses to admit her mistake. Nagatoro replies to her request by asking her senpai to teach her to draw.
Naoto hands Nagatoro a sketchbook and asks her senpai to teach her basic life drawing. That’s when Naoto realizes that he has to literally sit close to her and hold her hand to explain the fundamentals of life drawing.
Nagatoro goes to a toilet for a few minutes after an acquaintance with his female friend meets Naoto. When he mocks Nagatoro, Naoto immediately takes a stand for her. She does not allow them to ridicule their work, but she expresses even more rage at the fact that they were bothering her senpai.
Nagatoro: What Does Nagatoro Draw? Why Does It Embarrass Naoto?
Naoto and Nagatoro decide to draw one last portrait as the zoo day trip draws to a close. When Nagatoro takes him to a sloth, they take out their sketchbooks and begin drawing. Naoto is unable to come up with any explanations that might explain his opinion but he then switches his attention to drawing.
Nagatoro is not interested in drawing the sloth, but instead of drawing the senpai, he remembers the Club President telling her that art is the most important part of it. This makes him react in an unusual manner in front of Nagatoro, who is grateful for the opportunity to enrage him. They depart the zoo and return to their homes.
