The IO Interactive team has released a new blog post in which he discusses Hitman 3's venture Freelance mode. This mode will allow us to approach the game in a completely different way. You may see the film below.
"HITMAN: Freelancer adds a few new gameplay modes to the main game recipe," according to IO Interactive. The main game can be described as the VIP version of being an assassin, where the player has an organization that discovers targets and provides both detailed briefings and equipment, so Agent 47 doesn't have to deal with every detail."
"In HITMAN: Freelancer, it's not like that." "Players will have to construct and maintain a arsenal of weapons, while also considering the pros and cons of having a limited equipment capacity and the risk of losing valuable and hard-to-find gear."
"Another way HITMAN Freelancer gives more freedom to the player is by allowing them to pick which Syndicates to face off against, all based on the player's preferred playstyle, favorite locations, and perhaps even their personal dislikes for certain kinds of crime."
"Players may also neglect to supervise their important role of identifying targets in Showdown missions."
The team stresses that there are no guarantees that a particular target will be shot down during a mission, owing to the use of our tools. Therefore, the player must always choose all the details for each mission in Hitman Freelancer.
Finally, please note that Hitman 3 will soon rename and rename itself Hitman World of Assassination.
