Ubisoft tries to make up for the tenth postponement of Skull & Bones by revealing a new insight into the naval battle game's gameplay, while also demonstrating that, despite previous statements, a pinch of narrative will not be missed.
The Deck, a Ubisoft Singapore Community Developer and Narrative Director, discussed one of the less talked about parts of the game so far, namely the narrative and how it will affect gameplay. Skull & Bones was unambiguously described as a narrative game by Ubisoft last July, despite the existence of a background story capable of demonstrating pirates' activities in the Indian Ocean during the golden age of pirates. It is a pity that its release has been postponed until the next fiscal year, therefore in a period between April 2023 and March 2024.
