After losing a stake on the TCU-UGA game, Shaq eats a frog live on air: Watch ...

Shaquille O'Neal, an NBA player who now works as a commentator, was served a slaw of fried frog legs during an NBA On TNT match on Thursday, January 12. Shaq, 50, promised to eat a frog if the University of Georgia Bulldogs defeated the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs during the game on Monday, January 9.

After losing the game, Ernie walked out during Thursday's broadcast with a serving plate and a UGA football helmet on to present Shaq with his meal. Once he opened the lid, he realized that it was indeed fried frog legs.

Shaq smiled at the camera with a piece of the frog in his teeth and let everyone know that these were excellent. These are the finest frog legs I've ever had, and he clapped back at anyone who thought he'd go back out.

Shaq made the wager during an on-air chat on Friday, January 6. He made a reference to the TCU mascot, saying, "If Georgia defeats TCU, I'll eat frogs."

Shaq revealed that he had made major changes to his exercise and eating habits and lost 40 pounds in a late December interview with Entertainment Tonight. He said that he planned to do some exercise and eat more vegetables before his next birthday.
