The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War anime has received its first trailer and key visual, and it will premiere in 2023. Studio Tatsunoko Production is in charge of the production, with Hidekazu Sato as the director. Watch the new trailer:

Mao Emura is the anime's story designer and will direct the series' composition, while Mina Osawa will adapt Hara Shoji's original character design for the anime.

The year 1205 of the Septian Calendar.Lavian was born and raised in North Ambria, the most poor area in the Zemurian continent, and volunteered to join the "Northern Hunters," the largest and most famous hunting party on the continent, to carry out her duties. The anime is inspired by a 2013 RPG written by Nihon Falcom. The game is a part of the Trails series, which is a part of the larger The Legend of Heroes series.
