The GTA VI leak is being investigated, and an alleged hacker has been apprehended ...

Numerous law enforcement agencies have been searching for the culprit following this week's Grand Theft Auto VI leak. They now claim to have discovered the person, although it hasn't been officially confirmed.

A hacker stole footage (and presumably the source code) from Rockstar's Slack server earlier this week, revealing the as-yet-unannounced title to the world. It also revealed some gameplay. Rockstar issued a statement admitting the breach and expressing its displeasure.

According to reports, a 17-year-old man has been apprehended by the City of London Police on suspicion of hacking. At the time of this writing, neither Rockstar nor any law enforcement agencies had officially confirmed this individual.

Rockstar Games has assured gamers that the leak would not affect the development of GTA VI. Both Rockstar and Take-Two have attempted to remove the footage from YouTube, Twitter, and other social networks.
