Theatrhythm Final Bar Line, Square Enix's rhythm game, is expected to include iconic Final Fantasy songs, with the base game containing 385 tunes. Thanks to fans, we now know which tunes will be included.
RPGSite and Finaland have teamed up to analyze data and create a tracklist. You can see RPGSite's webpage for the complete run-down, but we'll highlight some key changes.
For starters, we have confirmation that every mainline game will have an Event track which will broadcast video footage from the entry in question. This was a major component of the original Theatrhythm that was deleted from the sequel, Curtain Call, which instead focused on the new features.
Since Curtain Call, a number of major Final Fantasy games have been released. Various XIV expansion tracks are included, like the iconic Oblivion, while the VII Remake's inclusion is significant with 11 tracks.
There are also a slew of obscure picks. Mystic Quest and Chocobo's Dungeon have returned, but what about Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers for Nintendo Wii? It only has one track! Two tunes from the DS oddity Final Fantasy The 4 Heroes of Light are included.
The most impressive changes, however, are the medleys. Curtain Call's final unlock was a well-known medley of songs, which now includes a longer version, while Final Bar Line is expected to include a Final Fantasy VII medley and a Battle medley.
