Rest in Peace.
John Paul wakes up and bursts out of the water, but he struggles to swim. Gabriel, who lives next to him, rescues him and looks up as the Garvey sisters flees the scene. But does he see them?
JP wakes up in the hospital and doesn't remember anything that happened. He believes someone is trying to kill him; however, Grace assumes he committed suicide.
Becka decides to go and get JP's nasal spray.
Matt meets Tom at their dad's grave to commemorate his birthday. From the hospital records, Tom tells him that John Paul believed someone was trying to kill him. They must then prove that it was one of the sisters. The Grace, the beneficiary, also knew about the murder.
The Claflin brothers pay a visit to Gabriel to inquire about what happened. She reveals that Eva was there that night with Becka. She told him not to tell JP, but she left when she realized she was with someone.
Matt tells Tom that he found a check addressed to Becka from John Paul's mother, which he believes is proof that Becka was involved in the assassination. What if Minna tried to wreak money from JP, and found her account empty?
Gabriel has confronted Eva on seeing her at the docks in the past. She then pleads to the Claflin brothers to keep this secret.
JP leaves the hospital and goes to Gerald for an interview. He's determined to beat Eva for the promotion, so he tells Gerald that Eva once had a breakdown.
Becka brings Blánaid home and goes upstairs to clean up John Paul's urine and find the nasal spray. JP comes home and catch her upstairs. She claims she was doing a job for him, but he can see what she's hiding.
JP's memory starts to chip away at her, and he grabs her to see what she put in her pocket, but Blánaid dismisses him, and Becka slips away.
Grace returns home and meets John Paul to discuss getting him some help. In an outburst, he shoves her down the steps outside. She falls, hits her head, and becomes unconscious.
Ben and Ursula see each other later, although she tries to break it off with him, but he still begs to follow her to work–where JP discovers him after being hospitalized due to Grace's injury.
Ursula discovers her son has broken his arm. Donal confronts her about him never being able to reach her when he needs her. His sisters aren't her only family, he insists.
Tom tries again in the present to dethrone the investigator, who finally agrees to undergo a post-mortem examination. He then warns Matt to keep away from Becka, and he starts to ignore her calls.
Becka does Minna's shopping for Grace in the past. When Minna mentions how often John Paul goes down to the basement, Becka checks it out.
She discovers a key to a freezer, where she discovers dead animals... and a human skeleton.
“George,” she says, believing she has discovered John Paul's missing father.
The plot intensifies, revealing that John Paul is responsible for the shocking cover-up of his father's death. Not only that, but this has provided the sisters with a potentially perfect method of killing the man—his own walk-in freezer.
The present timeline is undergoing a shake-up. The sisters are a hare's breath from being officially accused of several attempted murders–and perhaps one real one? Of course, insurance companies will have a problem in proving Grace knew about the murder–unless something occurs with the widow we don't know about.
