A Trailer for M. Night Shyamalans Knocks at the Cabin Has Been Released ...

Knock at the Cabin, M. Night Shyamalan's latest film (The Sixth Sense, Split) has released its first trailer. The director's first feature since Old, Knock at the Cabin in 2021, shows Shyamalan returning to the thriller genre once more to experiment with his own ideas about what the genre should be.

The official plot description on the IMDB says this:

Knock at the Cabin is billed as a home invasion film by itself. Yet, it does not stand as that alone. There is also a cult component to the film that suggests an interesting narrative direction.

The film is inspired by Paul G. Tremblay's 2018 novel The Cabin at the End of the World. Shyamalan, Steve Desmond, and Michael Sherman have all contributed to short films, indicating the need for fresh new voices to emerge.

Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), Rupert Grint (Harry Potter), Jonathan Groff (Hamilton), Ben Aldridge (Fleabag) and many others make up the cast.

The trailer paints a picture of the familiar while also utilizing a sense of the unknown to create a world that could be truly interesting.

When Knock at the Cabin arrives in cinemas on February 3, 2023, we will have to wait and see what happens.

The trailer for The Knock at the Cabin promises to be a success.
