Chaka Zulu, a long-time Ludacris executive, was one of three people shot in Atlanta's Buckhead district back in June. One person did not make it and died while being treated in the hospital.
Chaka Zulu, the long-time manager of rapper Ludacris, has been charged with felony and assault for an incident that occurred in June this year. However, a new video shows Zulu being beaten by a group of men before he was sacked.
Approximately ten minutes later, a group of men, including Artez Benton, who was killed in a shooting, arrive at Apt4B, park in the valet area, and enter the restaurant, owned by Zulu, after a disagreement.
Corey Crawford is seen removing something from a vehicle during an argument. Robinson then asks his pals to come over and then appears to chest bump Zulu, before things go down for the worse.
Chaka grabs Robinson, but Crawford and Benton jump in and begin pummeling Chaka. At one point, Chaka's female assistant (in the orange shirt) tries to help her, but Robinson punches her in the face, knocking her to the ground.
Crawford ducks for cover behind two vehicles, and shots ring out. A plume of smoke appears to be visible from Chaka's rifle. Another plume of smoke appears to emanate from Crawford's rifle.
Benton was hit in the chest and died of his injuries. It is believed that Chaka was shot in self-defense. We'll keep you updated on this ongoing story.
