The Splinter Cell Remake will have a narrative for today's audience ...

The Splinter Cell series is one of the most well-known stealth game franchises on the market, along with Metal Gear Solid's emphasis on shadows and darkness. The majority of Splinter Cell titles will feature the player sneaking around in the shadows, with the iconic three green dots on your head.

During the initial release, not many details about the remake's narrative were revealed. However, a recent job posting on Ubisoft's website revealed some information about what to expect.

We are rewriting and updating the story for a modern-day audience, utilizing the first Splinter Cell game as our foundation. We want to preserve the original gameplay while exploring our characters and the world in an effort to make them more genuine and believable.

Ubisoft intends to reuse the first Splinter Cell game as the basis for this story. This is understandable, as most, if not all, of the Splinter Cell games had fantastical endings. Most of the stories were told as James Bond's swap for black overalls and night-vision glasses.
